Israel and Iran war escalated further on Saturday. Both nations continued to launch fresh attacks despite international efforts to broker peace. U.S. President Donald Trump is still undecided about involving the United States in the ongoing war. According to his statement, he may join Israel’s military campaign against Iran within two weeks – or may be sooner.

The conflict is entering its second week but no signs of slowing are visible. On Friday, there was a talk involving European ministers and Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. But they failed to reach any diplomatic conclusions. European leader expressed cautious optimism for continued dialogue, but Iran remains firm in its stance.

Iran Plans
Araghchi said: “Iran is ready to consider diplomacy if aggression ceases and the aggressor is held accountable for its committed crimes.” Araghchi also made it clear that Iran would not engage with the U.S. under the current circumstances of ongoing Israeli aggression.
Israel Plans
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to continue military operations in Iran until the country’s nuclear threat and missile capabilities are neutralized. “This operation will continue for as long as it takes,” he declared. Israel’s top military leaders also signaled to be prepared for a prolonged campaign.
However, military analysts note that some of Iran’s critical nuclear infrastructure, such as underground Fordo uranium enrichment sites, lies beyond the reach of conventional Israeli weapons. This has increased speculation that Israel is counting on the U.S. to provide advanced, military support, particularly bunker-buster bombs.
President Trump has acknowledged this dilemma, stating that he will delay his decision on military involvement for up to two weeks. However, he warned, if necessary, the U.S. could act sooner.
Israel and Iran War Current Situation

According to Washington-based Iranian human rights organization, the war has already claimed at least 657 lives. It includes 263 civilians and other 2000 people are injured.
The world is anxiously watching Israel and Iran war as the situation worsen between them. This present situation may lead to further escalation or the faint hope of a ceasefire. However, no date has been set for a new round of negotiations.
